1. Introduction
Quacky Dash ("we", "us", or "our"), formerly published as "One Tap Fly", is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have when using our app. By using Quacky Dash, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Scope & Target Audience
This app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
3. Information We Collect
You can play Quacky Dash entirely as a guest — in that case scores, coins and settings stay on your device only. Depending on the features you choose to use, the app may collect:
- Google Sign-In (optional): if you sign in, we receive your Google display name, email address, profile picture and account ID, and store a game profile (scores, coins, purchases of in-game items, club membership, match and tournament results) in Google Firebase so your progress works across devices and appears on leaderboards.
- Chat messages (optional): messages you send in lobby, club or direct chat are stored so other players can read them. Chat is filtered by a kid-safe content policy; abusive messages can be removed and accounts restricted.
- Push notification token (optional): if you enable notifications, a Firebase Cloud Messaging token is stored to deliver tournament invites and challenge alerts.
- Device information: device model, operating system version, screen size, and language (used for compatibility and diagnostics).
- Gameplay and diagnostics: session length, scores, level progress and anonymized crash logs used to improve gameplay and stability.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to run online features you ask for (leaderboards, clubs, chat, 1v1 challenges and tournaments), improve game performance and stability, fix bugs and crashes, and understand aggregate user behavior to guide product improvements. We do not sell your data and we do not contact you for marketing.
5. Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell personal information. The app relies on these service providers, which receive only the data needed to provide their service:
- Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, cloud messaging) — stores the optional account profile, leaderboard and chat data described above.
- Google AdMob (advertising) — see section 6.
- Google Play Billing (purchases) — we never see or store your payment details; we only record which products you own (e.g. Remove Ads).
6. Advertising & Monetization
Quacky Dash shows banner ads and optional rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process your device's advertising ID and coarse location to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Where required by law, a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before ads load, and you can choose non-personalised ads. Purchasing the "Remove Ads" product turns advertising off entirely. The browser version of the game uses GameDistribution for ads instead of AdMob (their policy).
7. Data Retention
Local guest data stays on your device until you uninstall the app. Cloud profile data is retained while your account is active. Anonymized analytics and crash data are retained only as long as needed to support app improvements and troubleshooting — typically no longer than 24 months — unless otherwise required for legal or safety reasons.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, including using industry-standard transport security (e.g., TLS) for data in transit and Firebase security rules that restrict who can read and write your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights & Choices
To delete your account and all cloud data (profile, scores, chat messages), email abhiyantsingh007@gmail.com from the Google account you signed in with. We delete the data within 30 days. You can also play without signing in at any time by using guest mode.
10. Children's Privacy & Parental Requests
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sign-in, chat and purchases are optional features, and chat is filtered by a kid-safe policy. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at abhiyantsingh007@gmail.com and we will promptly take steps to delete that information. Please include the app name and a description of the data you would like deleted.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
